President Bush declared it a legal holiday in honor of past president Ford. I had heard before that it was not legal to keep the post office closed 3 days on a row. But if the current president says holiday in honor of a past president so be it.

I was told that because Ford died the Post Office will be close in remembrance of him. But I am not exactly sure if thats true
