there probably is, i wish i knew it, i suck at conversations, i think most people who are good don't realize there's a pattern to their conversations, it's just natural

there sure is. Just listen to the speeches Clinton gave during his time in office. Most of them said very little and when he did make a statemet it most always was wrong but he could turn it around and make the people believe otherwise.

Yes it is an art and yes it is taught. Many universities have classes in public speaking and broadcasting.
