"The whole is more than the sum of its parts." -Aristotle

Being holistic...

How do you see yourself contributing thoughts, behaviour, and work with respect to the whole? Why is that important? Is there a limit? Could you lose your individuality? Where do you draw the line, if one exists?

There is no conflict between individuality and being part of the whole...... it is unnecessarily heightened feeling of self that creates a pseudo individuality conflicting with the holistic entity. However, all of us suffer from the 'self corruption' and that creates a duality in our individuality.

In my view therefore there is no need to draw any line from serving the totality..... the individual purpose is automatically served and that is how holistic entity is defined with respect to each of its minuscule parts or portions.

Actually, just being employed adds to the whole.

Yes, one can lose identity: happens all the time in the corporate world. Not to mention to celebrities and politicians.
