the tip of my finger has been numb ALL day. whats going on?

I partied really hard last night and since I woke up this morning, the tip of my middle finger on my left hand has been numb. It wont go away. Why would this happen and what should I do about it? Should I be worried?

well did you stick ur finger in something that:could electrocute, bite, stab, crush, or prehasp it just fell asleep. o maybe to much to drink or them darn furbys.

just monitor it for a while..if symptoms persist say tomorrow still, have ur family doctor refer u to a neurologist. may be a pinched nerve? or some other nerve issue. They may want to schedule x-rays.
