minimum wage here in CA before today, Jan 1st was 6.75. I am making 7.00 right now. Minimum was just raised to 7.50 an hour so how much am I supposed to make now?

It depends on where you work. I live in Ohio and we are raising min. wage to 6.85 and hour. I currently make 6.45 and when they raise it, I will only be getting 6.85. Unfair, I know. So it really just depends on what business you work for..

Your paycheck should read $7.50 - remember when your work week starts and ends...give it a week or two to actually be a full $7.50/hr week. Until then, it may be your norm..then the new wage. (1/2 & 1/2)

As of 01/07 any hours worked will be @7.50 and reflected in your next check. Previous hours will be @ 7.00

Unfortunately for unskilled workers...it's 7.50 now....for us skilled educated workers we have to suffer because of the unskilled increase prohibits the raises we deserve.
May your big mac prices increase.

well after the raise i think u should be getting about 8 or so.
