Can't lay down and die! not an option no matter how bad it gets.
The worst that can happen is waking up in hell and seeing Saddam. Oh, that's right...there are worse things than death. Being old and forgotten and left to die alone in a nursing home, or surviving a fire with 80% of my body burned and facing multiple surgeries, or loosing everything I love (pets, sisters, ect.) and dying from a broken heart.
If we had the option to go through such things knowing all will be OK, where would our courage and faith be?
I've come through some real crap and my perseverance has served me well, but every trial has taken it's toll and left scars, yet I'm okay. I'm not able to say 'yes' to your question because one never knows. I do however believe in my ability to understand and seek more understanding on whatever good/bad may come to me, and come out on the other side a 'better' person. That keeps me grounded, and that makes me feel like things will ultimately be okay.

No one can really know for certain. I think the best thing to do here is have faith and determination that you'll be able to pull through whatever you're facing right now.

In what realm are you asking?

If something happens to me like psychologically speaking, I'll be OK.

If something happens to me like being hit by a truck, will I be OK - only G-d knows.
