Woke up at the house of my best friend - three of us had a sleepover.
I received belated Christmas presents from three friends, including a yummy tray of homemade goodies.
Waiting with all my bags for the bus, to come back across the city to my place, another friend spotted me while driving his van and drove me the 10 miles home.
I spent the afternoon hanging out with housemates and neighbours from two houses, playing board games for hours. (Knights and Castles of Catan).
One of my housemates cooked a yummy dinner.
Another neighbour came by to give hugs and wish us a happy new year.
Then four of us gathered at another neighbour's house to watch a movie and eat popcorn and chocolate.
It was a good day!
And I got paid NOT to work, and get tomorrow off, too!

The fact that I had a chance to wake up at 4 o'clock in the afternoon on a Monday instead of 6 o'clock in the morning on a Monday! New Year's parties are the best.

The best thing about my first day in 2007 was and is that it wasn't my ONLY day on this earth. It is after midnight so realistically it is the 2nd day of 2007 now. Enjoy it!

there was nothing special abt my new year.. no party or whatsoever.
we slept @ 11 on new year's eve & yest, my bestfrend & i went 2d mall & shopped 4 some clothes, had some hot choco & then stroll some more & headed home..
but wat's different is i feel very POSITIVE this year. i can feel that this will b a nice year 4 me & all my loved ones..
