I live in the silicon valley area and I really need to buy venison meat because my dad wants to make something special. Ive looked high and low for it but now I turn to you guys. Anybody know where I can buy some? willing to travel 100 miles from San Jose.

You should try some of the little butcher shops in the Bay area: San Francisco: Little City, Bryan's, Drewes and Guerra; Ver Brugge in Oakland; Lawrence's in Alamo.
You can also try putting an ad on Craig's List. A lot of hunters have different cuts in their freeezers and may be willnig to part with it for a price.
