BMW7series are all good but very pricy. Lexus has a very smooth ride. I would test drive before i buy.

Well depends on what you want overall:
Sports - BMW
The most for the money- Acura or Lexus
Reliabilty- Acura and Lexus
Looks- BMW and Lexus
Power- BMW

AUDI, BENZ and BMW share the EXACT SAME SUPPLIERS like ZF steering and trannies, and ATE girling brake systems, BOSCH ignition and injection and even TIMING CHAINS and TENSIONER systems! Audi wins in nearly every race it ever enters, even in AIRPLANE racing as well! The ACURA is a pricier HONDA< which is OKAY< but is STILL not an AUDI CAR! BYE NOW!

My dad has owned top of the line Mercedes, BMW and Lexus. He prefers the Lexus.

I agree with Phil. Acura is most for your money and very reliable. They also generally handle very well and the fit and finish is nice. They hold up great under all kinds of abuse.
Audis are good fun because of the Quattro handling.
