Since Al Gore and his team of Vice Presidential Action Rangers are tasked with protecting the space time continuum who is to say that he didn't travel back into the past and invent both fire and the wheel?
Then again, it might be nothing more dramatic than the fact that he was dropped as a child and not caught until the third bounce.

Gore never said that he invented the internet. That is a smear. He did sponsor the bill funding the internet's initial infrastructure.
If you like GOP smears you must also believe that the medals the military hands out are just worthless pins, like the GOP friendly swiftboaters claim. Getting a silver star, a bronze star, and 3 purple hearts, all just a scam. You believe GOP smears you must believe that all those medals are just worthless pins.
