How young is this kitten??
If 5 weeks or older they can eat any cat food that is specified for kittens. Check his / her teeth if they are big enough give them dry food. It is better for their teeth and will help keep then clean.
If the kitten is very young they need a mother milk supplement. They sell that at pet stores. You may need to use an eye dropper. Or get a tiny dolls bottle.
Do not give any other type of milk ( cow's / goat's ) they can not digest it and it has too much calcium in it and can it time give them stones in bladder or kidneys.

That depends on its age. A kitten birth to 6 weeks should have cat milk, which you can buy at stores, NOT cowmilk. 5weeks and up they can have some solid foods including the soft bagged kind and dry foods. I personally recomend Purina Kitten Chow. When mine were babies they love it and grew into healthy strong cats.
Good Luck!>^,,^<

I just got a new kitten for Christmas and I'm feeding her Purina Kitten Chow. I wouldn't feed her anything else...No people food. Especially no fattening, greasy, salty, sugary foods... You don't want her insides to get messed up, or for her to get diahhrea and be dehydrated. You should feed her kitten food for the first year of her life. I strongly recommend Purina Kitten Chow; it's the best, and it makes my kitten happy and healthy, and she loves it! She's about eleven or twelve weeks old now. Hope you and your kitten have a great week! :]

If that cat is weened then regular kitten food. If it is not weened before it is taken away from it's mom then you can do what I did when I found this abandoned kitty. Use canned goat's milk with a little kayro syrup and warm it the same as you would a baby's bottle. Got that recipe from a vet.

Depends on the age. But over 5 wks of age, they should be able to eat solid food. Kitten chow is a good food. I don't recommend milk---it usually gives cats the diarrhea...contrary to popular belief.

kitten food, dry and moist, is the best bet it is high in calories and is what the kitten needs. if the kitten is less than 8 weeks a cat milk replacement can be used in a little bottle, between 7-11 weeks soak kitten dry in water and give them that slowly reducing the water amount everyday.
once he is on 100% dry, no water, give him kitten moist once a day and keep the dry filled through out the day. he can move to adult food at one year.

get some mothersmilk in a can in your regular grocery store, heat it to about 80 degrees in the microwave and feed it with a little pet bottle every 4-6 hours. Also, after he/she starts eating solids. I would soak hard food in water for a bit cause soft can food can give a kitten diarrea.

Any food that is specified for kittens only. There are many different ones. Science Diet makes a wonderful one, give it a try if you can!

Kitten food. **No cow's milk**, too hard on their digestive system. You can feed them goats milk or kitten formula from the store.
A young kitten should not eat anything else.
