No, I give credit to Boise St. I thought OU showed a lot of character in overcoming their terrible start to tie the game and then take the lead, but some BSU pulled out some brilliant plays to win.

No. The biggest joke are flapping gums in the media that said Boise State "couldn't play", would be "blown out", "embarassed", and "didn't belong on the field". So much for that prognostication.

Even before the game, most of the internet buzz I read said Oklahoma (for the most part, about 90% of voices), and anybody elsewhere who had a clue, took Boise State seriously. Now everyone else should too.

All roads lead to Jim Rome...he and his big mouth just got run over by a herd of broncos.

No. Michigan was. You can throw the two SEC invalids in there too since the SEC is supposedly superior in every facet of the game over Big 10 teams.

I think Boise State had excellent, excellent gameplans both offensively and defensively. I tell you what, if Tressel were to leave OSU to take an NFL job, Chris Petersen would be the first coach I'd have on the phone if I were Gene Smith at Ohio State.

No oklahoma is not a joke. i think they showed up just expecting this to be an easy win and bsu proved them wrong in the first quarter. Then in the second half bsu started to faulter and Ok kicked it up. Both teams played the most amazing game college football has seen this year and i can't wait for next season! Thank you sooners, for giving us a run for our money...!

Oklahoma fought the good fight--they deserve nothing but respect. Boisie was just hungrier. They kept their cool even when it seemed that all was lost.

I saw what champions look like tonight!

And I agree with the other poster who said that was the best college football game ever! I can't wait to see what they do next season!

No - not the biggest joke. That may go to Michigan tonight.

I give a great deal of credit to Boise State for playing a great game and convincing me that you have to take them seriously as a threat to beat anyone in the nation.

this is like a repeat of the Championship Game 3 years ago, when USC took on Oklahoma. everyone expected Oklahoma to dominate, but didn't. . USC won 55-17. . . .

Yes, they are. They have been a joke for 3 years in a row as far as I can see. I am giving them 1 more year and then I am going to start blaming Coach Stoops.
