Take a warm bath and drink some warm milk. Try reading something boring.Make sure you do not get too hot or cold. Your body needs to be the right temp to sleep. Do not worry about the next day or anything that will get you wired. Think about things that are comforting and familiar. Good night!

It will be okay. Calm down..This happened to me so many times I actually researched it in college. In short, if you can manage to lay down without moving, your body will realize 70% of the revitalizing components sleep affords the body and brain. Also, it's good to know that you can sleep, not know you are asleep, and feel tired the next day. SO, best to go with: Just lay there, don't move and take the 70%. You'll probably fall asleep and not believe you slept. Next time, don't eat chocolate or drink coke after 5pm....You'll be okay....nitey-nite.

Walk away from the computer, heat up a glass of milk in the microwave and down it, turn off the lights and turn the heat down. Stop thinking...time to turn that of as well.

First, Unload a wad, close your eyes, then start to relax each muscle at a time starting with your feet, and work your way up your body to your facial muscles. Think of happy things... slip into a dream.

first of all, turn off the computer...then, turn out the lights, get in bed and close your eyes...count backwards from 1000.
if you take anything now (like tylenol pm or benadryl), you will regret it in the morning because you don't have enough time to sleep now.

Drink a glass of warm milk, turn all the lights off. Put on soothing music...Kenny G seems to do the trick for me.

Try eating something LOTS of food, that makes me tired and weak!
Or, take sleeping pills, watch some tv until you fall asleep, do something nice, reading something can make you very tired too. I hope this works!
