between the 2? if i had to chose which of these 2 great QBs is overrated its peyton. yea he has a few records and yea his team was the only team to win 10 or 11 straight games in back to back seasons, and yea he has a good qb rating and has all the numbers and wins most of his games, but how many rings does he have? ZERO!!! Toms got 3 of them. he doesnt have the gaudy numbers peyton has and he aint even in the pro bowl this year which is a shame. tom does more with less, can you imagine if tom had marvin harrison on his team, how much better his numbers would be and how many more rings he would have. plus bradys win % in the playoffs is way way way better than peytons. i think peyton has a below .500 win % in the playoffs.

That's a good question. I don't know if either is overrated though. Tom Brady is clutch and has won 3 Super Bowls, but he also has been on better all-around teams. Peyton Manning is the better quarterback, look at the stats. The problem is that the Colts have never been able to stop the run, which kills them in the playoffs and will probably kill them again this year. That's not Manning's fault.

The Patriots have an amazing coach, their defense is top-notch every year. They are a very physical defense, and have been able to handle the Colts.

I believe that if you took these two guys and switched teams, then Manning would have won three Super Bowls, and Brady would have won none, and he also would not have had the stats that Peyton does. It's not fair that Peyton Manning always takes the heat . He can't play defense and that's why he hasn't won.

Using the logic from previous answers, Antoine Smith is a better RB than LaDanian Tomlinson, since Smith has two Super Bowl rings and Tomlinson has none. Or, David Garrard is a better QB than either because "he just wins games." No, his TEAM does. Also, Brett Favre is the best because he has the most "swagger." All of these are stupid ways to judge a player.

Peyton Manning is the best QB in the NFL, and by a wide margin. Tom Brady is also very, very good. Neither are overrated. The only argument that can be made against Manning is in regard to his contract. He singlehandedly takes up more than 10% of the Colts salary cap, which makes it very hard to not only keep his offense together, but it makes it near impossible to assemble any kind of run defense (trading for another pass rusher like Booger MacFarland doesn't help, nor does Corey Simon being out due to injury).

If the Colts lose early in the playoffs again, as they probably will, it will not be because "Manning isn't a good playoff QB." He is the best playoff QB, just as he is the best QB in the regular season. It's going to be because of the weak defense.

Peyton Manning is the overrated QB. Tom Brady is the best in the NFL. His team shows it. In the era of free agency the New England Patriots built a dynasty and probably saw it fade because of it. Tom Brady has the ability to make everyone around him better. How many people actually new who Reche Caldwell was at the beginning of the was? Tom Brady's composure and killer instinct is what sets him higher than Peyton Manning. Both of the Mannings lack that killer instinct. And with all the weapons that Peyton has around him compared to what Tom has, Tom is doing more, a lot more with less.

evaluate this, Manning calls each and all of the colts performs. Brady does despite the coach calls. If the colts win it somewhat is as a results of fact manning has mentioned as besides as performed a sturdy interest. while the patriots win its as a results of fact Brady did what he became advised to do. Manning has a speedier launch and a extremely better arm. Their is a reason Manning became first interior the draft and Brady went interior the seventh around. What they the two have in basic is they the two see the sphere. the potential to make certain the sphere or lack of ability is why some large hands sit down on the bench or are out of soccer whilst weaker ones play each and every Sunday. Seeing the sphere below stress makes Brady a undeniable QB. Seeing the sphere below stress and calling the performs makes Manning extra. Sorry i comprehend your not likely to love this answer.

Brady is the best QB in da game, Peyton is second best. The position is called quarterback and not passer, Brady is the better quarterback, he scrambles better and is a better athlete and is more clutch. Give him Harrison and Wayne, and the Edge for all though years on turf and he would have put up ridiculous numbers also. Pop Peyton in the mouth a few times and he gets that happy feet and chokes.

Neither one is overrated. Peyton probably has one of the highest football IQ's of anyone who had ever played or coached. There is nobody playing quarterback right now that you could throw into that system and run it as smoothly as he does. Tom Brady is obviously a good quarterback too, he has the rings to prove it. I think Peyton is better overall though. Plus, Peyton does better commercials, not that it has anything to do with it.

I'm going to take Tom Brady. Why because he doesn't choke in the playoffs like peyton does.
Brady is calm even if things aren't going his way. Manning on the other hand gets fustrated and that ruins his game. I'm taking Tom Brady it's hard to fustrate Tom Brady.

When I look at this question, I think to myself, If I have one game to win, whom do I choose: Between these two men, I would have to say Tom Brady, the man is clutch, thats all there is to it. Peyton is an amazing quarterback, and you can't take that away from him, but Tom Brady is a proven winner, so you gotta say he is the better of the two.

Both are over rated. Peyton is the better QB in the regular season. Brady is by far better in the playoffs. Peyton always chokes in the post season, except against denver. If I had to choose who is the best QB in the NFL right now I would say probably Drew Brees, or, I hate to say it, Marc Bulger.
