I did extensive research into IQ in grad school. Basically, it boils down to this. IQ will separate people into smart, average and dumb. It will also detect diffuse brain injury (if your IQ changes after a head trauma, that is a reliable sign of diffuse brain injury).
124 puts you in the smart category. There is absolutely no difference between that and higher IQ scores, is the issue. In other words, 115, 124 and 140 all mean the same thing. But, 80, 100 and 115 mean different things.

iq shouldn't change with age. An average iq is 100, so an iq of 124 is above average. But the validity of that score is questionable. I wouldn't trust a website like that to give an accurate iq.

This answer depends on age and education. 124 is considered to be borderline genius. It must be noted that the IQ test needs to be age and education appropriate. the normal bell curve for IQ is 80 is break point for mentally handicapped, 100 is the average, and 120 is the point where one breaks into the gifted or genius range. During high school some areas move the upper line to 130 to keep from providing so many gifted classes.

It's good, but it's not genius. But you can't tell your true IQ score with just an online test, you need to be tested by professionals in real life. Have a nice day, and hope your new year was good! :)

It doesn't mean ANYTHING at all if you don't use it. Your high IQ isn't a crutch/excuse for lack of productivity. Use it to be productive and successful. Stay positive and happy.

not too bad. I took tests twice. First one scored 156, second one 137. I guess I got dumber. If this trend continues, I'd probably be down to about a 46 by now.

100 is average. If you took the test online then it doesn't mean much, I got 139 and i'm only sixteen.
