I am amedical student and need to calculate areas of many pressure volume graphs related to myocardial and respiratory functons

listen, if you can't tell the difference between a scratch and some sort of integration, I don;t think you should be pursuing the whole doctor thing.
Unless you want to become a foot doctor or something... then i suppose it's ok... or a chiropractor... but not a GP or Emergency guy.
The last thing I want to hear in the evaluation room is..."I'd know better whether or not to perform brain surgery, if only I could tell if that thing on his arm was a scratch or an integration... ah what the heck- it's probably the second thing- let's cut his head open!"
