My favorite is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I just coudn't get enough of the quidditch world cup, I thought some of her finest ideas were included in that part. The "Veela", the rude little leprechauns, the comedy that ensued, even the parts at the campsight. It is very rare to have a book make you laugh out loud, and I laughed plenty.

The tournament of champions was heart stopping-to say the least. The dragons, the egg, old Moaning Myrtle...then you get the mystery of Barty Crouch, she leaves you in suspense until the last minute.

And last, but, not least, it is the end of Harry's innocence. He is forced to grow up. You can feel it in the end, feel the direction of the future novels changing. Many people are upset with it, but, I just think it is great. Not even Harry can have fun, forever...

I will confess that I love Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. It is very gipping story and for it foreshadows a lot like Snape's ultimate betrayal and how Sirius Black's death will affect the plot. It was the first book where you can actually predict what will happen in the next book in this case Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

the goblet of fire. aside from having the longest and most interesting story, main characters did not die here. (ok in book 3 no one died, but book 4 is way better than book 3). cedric diggory is cute and all, but we can't aford losing sum1 so close to harry. like in book 5 and 6, sirius and dumbledore died. tragedy and more evil stuffs came after book 4.

book 5 and 6 concentrated on more evil curses being unleashed..and it all ended sadly( ironically u cant put down the book. its so nice!).

maybe if book 7 come out, it would really be the best out of 7. looking forward to it.

I love all of them and have read them many times but I would say "Order of the Phoenix".

There was just so much stuff going on and I like when books make you feel. Okay I know that sounds silly but I was mad while I was reading the book about Umbridge and how the Ministry didn't believe Harry and Dumbledore. I like when the author can suck you in like that.

Plus all the pranks that Fred and George pulled when Dumbledore left and all the stuff they invented...AWESOME!!!

Number 3- Prisoner of Azkaban.
the twists and turns in the plot were nothing short of amazing. I can still remember the shock I felt as I read the chapter where harry listens to the teachers gossip about his parents and their connection with sirius black. then again in the shrieking shack when the truth was revealed. absolute brilliance.
its only fault was that it should have been longer!!

Well I love them all... but my order for liking them goes...
the 4th just beacsue it was the first long one and I never wanted to stop reading it
closely followed by the 3rd... I was so happy that harry found sirius black, it seems to give him some hope.
then the 6th I cant wait for the last one!
then the 1st.. caue it was the original and what got me hooked on them. then the 5th and 2nd were tied for me. The fifth was a bit lenghty but I thought it was good becasue it tied up all the unanswered questions and just put in all the information and backround the other books needed..
Anyways... you really cant rank tthem properly.. they are all amazing!!!

i love the first one, but i guess u haven't heard that one... besides for that i like the 3rd and the 6th. i actually really did not like 4 OR 5. but definitely find out about the first one because to me, that's the best.

i like it best because unlike the other books, the first is not very far fetched. i mean, there is magic so obviously there is going to be an unrealistic aspect to the book, but the other books take it too far i think and i dont like it. the first is very good becasue its easy reading, everything makes sense, and its not slow or boring.

if u were counting movies (not books) then i would say i like the 4th movie the best. (and i like the 1st movie second best). i like the 4th movie best becasue cedrick diggory is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oohh, tough question. They're all really good books, but I would have to go with Order of the Pheonix. (At least, everything except the ending.)
