Depending on how old your kids are, I found Disneyland to be more kid friendly, Universal is better for teens.

This depends on when you will be going and what you prefer. Disneyland has more kid rides and Universal Studios is more of adventure older than 7 years old kind of rides. I prefer universal studios but that is because I'm older and disneyland tends to be more crowded. Sometimes, the disneyland rides close down for renovation as I went there 2 years ago only to find space mountain shut down. It was dissapointing. If you have never been to disneyland, you'll find lots of kiddie rides with quite a few okay rides suitable for all ages. If your kids are older and can take some scary rides like the mummy returns walkthrough(full of real life actors in mummy suits and scary scenes and people popping out scaring you) or jurassic park rides, then go for universal studios. They have a lot of fun adventurous rides that can make you feel scared yet relieved that your money has been paid for something worth it. Disneyland is for some younger kids with a few older kids rides and is always good for the younger kids. Still, disneyland has california adventure and mickey mouse and more that many kids love! But its a matter of a family theme park or a more family-adventure-ish theme park. They are both fun, some with ups and some with downs. Its all a matter of what you prefer.

Depends on age of children...teens would probably enjoy Universal or Magic Mountain better... but Disneyland is great, too! I have 2 kids...we got to Disneyland twice a year...we are huge Disney fans, though, and never tire of it!

Yea since you have like 4 kids you should go to Disneyland, it's more of a better environment for them!! Universal is a little more for teenagers and up!!

Universal Studios it's much funner. It has rides for kids from all there favorite videos and Disneyland you wait in line forever and never get to do anything.

well if u live in los angeles u should just go to universal studios but if your kids r young i say disneyland is good for them.i've been to both parks.

I say Disneyland. I've never been there, but I've been to Disney World. Disneyland is a smaller-down version of Disney World.

your kids will be bored to death and universal studios as it is mainly for shows and things of that nature and a good place for teens and adults to go as you basicly in a movie studio in a sense... Dinsneyland would be the best place to go they have alot of kid friendly rides and is a place to take younger children when you want to visit a amusment park and im sure they would have a blast thier especialy if they have any fav disney charectors like mikey donald ect.. hope this helps and have fun when you do pick you place that your going too..

if your kids are young then take 'em to Disneyland, if there a bit older like 10+, than take 'em to Universal Studios
