be (lite) spotting in your 8 week of pregnacy

tomorrow will be my 1st doc visit and i havent had sex with my boyfriend. this is my first pregnacy and i m really worried.

Yes. Spotting during the first trimester is very normal and sometimes spotting may go along with mild cramps. Many times the spotting is caused by your uterus growing and breaking small vessels for more room. However if you are having spotting which continues to bleeding and filling a maxi an hour for 3 hours along with heavy cramping there is a great chance you are having a miscarriage. When you are in this situation Dr's advise an immediate call and will have you come in.

light spotting is fairly normal, especially if you've just had a doctor exam, or if you've had sex recently. As long as there isn't alot (like enough to fill a maxi pad) then you should be okay. But you should call the doctor if it continues, just to be safe. Good luck!

I've heard that it's normal to spot a little after sex during pregnancy, but if you're concerned about it, i would check with your doctor.

some spotting can be totally normal, and even having periods during pregnancy, but make sure you check with your doctor, so they are aware and can decide if you need to come in

Yes. It's typical if it's pink. If it's bright red, then that could be a warning of something worse.
