Has anyone tried them? Do they really help reduce snoring? The commercials claim that they "train" the person to sleep without snoring after using them for 14 days. Is that true?

Dr. Hatfield has done an admirable job debunking Breathe Right strips, the latest myth in performance enhancement for otherwise healthy athletes. Does this mean these they are useless? Absolutely not! Athletes sleep, which means that sleeping male athletes annoy people with their snoring. Breathe Right strips seem to relieve snoring in some cases.

As Dr. Hatfield suggests we still have a lot to learn about these strips and their effects on people with known respiratory limitations. And the exciting possibility of enhanced brain cooling by increasing nasal airflow has possible public health as well as performance enhancement implications.

I dont know if they train you not to snore but I do know that my mom snored SO loud until she started using them. I could hear it in my own room and it drove me crazy so I finally said something to her about it and she started using them then she pretty much stopped altogether. I would definately suggest trying them out if you are interested.

I don't know if they actually train snorers not to snore after 14 days, but I come from a family of deviated septums and I can guarantee that they do indeed work.

A couple of members of my family use them and they say the strips work great. I don't know about the training, though.

Yes, my husband drove me nuts with his snoring so I bought some for him to give a try. A GODSEND!

I like them, but they haven't trained me. I use them any time I feel congested. The weird way I knew they were doing anything was in the morning when I took them off, in 2 minutes I was congested.

(Cheapest place to buy them is Costco.)

I use them and I LOVE them. They really do work. I have a deviated septum and it helps me breathe so much better. I sleep so much better since I began using them. They have changed my sleep life!

Yes, they work great. Your nose must be dry (no lotion) for it to stick, but they pull the sides of your nose out enough to breathe better. I don't believe they "train" your nose . . . that is farfetched.
