They'd be the only undefeated team in Division I-A football.

Good question. They won't because of their conference anc strength of schedule. If BYU were Champs in the 80's by beating a 6-5 Michigan team in the Holiday Bowl than yes Boise State deserves it in 2006.

This will probably be the year that makes college football adopt a playoff system. There are too many teams that feel they deserve to be there.

I was really impressed with Boise State's offense and their unique play calling . I feel they could outscore anyone on any given night. Congratulations to the Broncos on a perfect season.

They made a believer out of me. However it will never happen. Although I believe now that on a given day - Boise State could beat anyone in the nation.

No, but Boise State _will_ be rewarded with a final ranking of at least sixth, and as high as fourth if Michigan is downgraded and Notre Dame beats LSU.

helllll no. usc and the winner of notredame vs. lsu would be a better choice. remember the competition of Boise St.'s comference is not even close to the pac 10, sec, and big 10(much less big east acc and big 12).

Of course. They won ALL the games on their schedule. Even if OSU wins, Boise deserves a piece of the title.

if Ohio looses then yes USC lost to Oregon state, and Boise St smoked Oregon State. come on we need a play off and like again and again its all about money

Hell ******* no. With the exception of a soon to be gone head coach in Oklahoma they didn't play anybody. Let them shoot their mouths off saying they want Ohio State...They will get a swfit kick of reality when they see a 55-0 HALFTIME score (if Ohio State even wants to grace their presence towards BSU).

We all know that won't happen. They will give it to USC after the whooping they put on Michigan.
