when i am playing online games that require the use of the arrow keys, my computers built in speaker will beep, even with no volume on.

You could simply disconnect it inside the case. There really isn't anything wrong with that. You just wouldn't be able to hear the Beep codes during boot sequence. Other than that, the internal speaker isn't used for much. Hope this helps...

you have sounds assigned to the use of those keeys. These sounds use the speaker built into the motherboard not your soundcard speakers.

click on start
control panel
sounds and audio devices
sounds tab
then in the box under sound scheme
select no sounds.

this should fix the beeping.

The internal speaker is also responsible for beeping if the processor is overheating, but if you're confident it won't overheat then go ahead and pull it out.

dont u hate that its not ur pc speakers well the ones u listin to music through its actualy the built in speaker for the mother baord to alert u of bios beep codes and i havent figured out how to stop it but i beleave iits in the bios

I agree with the posts above. Your only option is to disconnect the speaker from inside the case manually (unless there is a setting in the BIOS to turn it off).

Disconnect it!

Pop off your PC's side cover (assuming that doesn't void your warranty). You'll see the case speaker attached to the motherboard. Only pull that set of wires out and voila!

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
