I would say the Honda Civic Si. The Mustang is a bit misplaced in the line-up. Its a bigger, louder, rougher car and typically attracts a different genre (I love the looks).
The Civic '07 would be a lot more fun. You'll get state of the art, up to date gadgetry. The bhp on this car is now at an impressive 197 which will feel like a punch in a car of that size and if you want there is a trim option with premium wheels available right off the line-up. No customization needed. The BMW is over 5 years old with something like 65000 miles. Be ready for some serious maintainance $$ if you go for this option.

I would go with the Honda.. They always rank real well in reliability. I get news papers from Oregon where my husband's & my families live & I have noticed there are an awful lot of 2006 Mustangs in the used car ads which doesn't look like they are very satisfactory to the buyers. As for the BMW, it is almost 5 years old so be sure to get a Car Fax Report & check the Kelly Blue Book to be sure you aren't paying more than you will get out of it. Also check consumer reports &/or car & driver to see how that year & model ranked in the reliability & customer satisfaction. Never go in unprepared & know what you want & you won't get taken for a ride by the salesman.
Good Luck...

If you want to save money and be able to drive it for the next 10 years then go for the civic, and if you like it when people look at you and the sports driving then 3 series all the way..but no matter what don't get the mustang cause you can get a way better car for that price and its gonna break down, bad gas milage, and bad handling.

It depends on your taste and income.
The honda is cheaper on gas and insurance.
The mustang, for me would have to be the Shelby.
The BMW is a good and fun car to drive but expensive to maintain. I own a BMW 318i and if I had the cash I go for the 07 BMW M6.

I agree...go with the Civic. The other two cars may be nice to look at,but the civic is the most reliable and low maintenance of the 3, at least from my experience. The BMW is nice, but as it is a 2002, you're going to need to do a lot of maintenance on it and unless you're good with fixing cars it's gonna cost you a pretty penny to take it in to get serviced. Go with the Civic...good gas mileage...reliable...low maintenance...all-around good car.

i would say to buy the Honda, but i would probably buy the mustang just to support the good ole USA. But i am also going to school to be a mechanic so i guess it really doesn't matter to me which car I would buy. I only look for what looks nice

You should get the Civic. Out of those 3, the Civic is the cheapest one and the most reliable.
