Type in CTRL + SHIFT+ C (don't use the plus signs lol). Then when the box pops up at the top type in boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true (type it in exactly as I did) and make sure you type this in the neighborhood screen. Then once you do that click on the family house, let the family load and once it has loaded choose your sim (SHIFT click on them). This will enable alot of options too. Once you have all of your options click on the one that says aspiration, or whatever it is called :). Once you do that you have the options to change the aspiration (wealth, money, family, etc.) or change their mood. Another thing you could do is if you have Nightlife type in maxmotives in the cheat box. Hope I helped!

Ctrl+Shift+C and then type in maxmotives and then enter. And all their motives should go up!!
