I have looked on line and can not find a hotel with rooms in Venice in September 2007. What is going on in September in Venice?
Also can you recommend a hotel that is around 400 a night or less?

I don't know in which site you've searched on line since the first one I've tested gives me all kind of availability in the next Sept. Probably you have done something wrong....!!

Search on yahoo or google, you can find so many site to book a hotel in Venice. at 400 rate you can book good 4 star hotel in San marco area which is more easy access to all places.
Better you book your hotel in advance, coz Sept is more demanding season for tourism in Venice.
So many happenings there, Film festival, operas, exhibitions and many more to see.
