For Hydrogen, why is the energy state of an electron in hydrogen atom only depend on n??

Cause it doesnt have electrons to fill the other orbitals only one electron so it goes in the n orbital like helium both of its 2 electrons go in the n orbital everything after that would go into the p orbitals!
