The story is futuristic in a society made up of two groups of peoples, one that live above the ground and one that lives below the ground. The word "mogwai" keeps popping into my mind, but not the little creatures from 'Gremlins"...I vaguely remember the below-ground dwellers revolting and attacking the above ground folks. I thought it was "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley, but thats not the correct book. Help anyone?

I wish I could narrow it down, but I have so many favourites that I read over and over again! Here are a few - in no particular order: Pride & Prejudice - Jane Austen Riders - Jilly Cooper Ballet Shoes - Noel Streatfeild Apple Bough - Noel Streatfeild Angels & Demons - Dan Brown The Da Vinci Code - Dan Brown Digital Fortress - Dan Brown Casino Royale - Ian Fleming A Room with a view - EM Forster The Railway Children - E Nesbit The Enchanted Castle - E Nesbit Flowers in the attic - Virginia Andrews Yes Man - Danny Wallace Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - JK Rowling And I'm sure there's more, but I won't bore you any more. I suppose they are the books that I've read time and time again and never ever get bored of. Good question!

H.G wells The Time Machine
The book the Time Machine was a very interesting book, at first it seemed confusing to me with all this arguing about a 4 dimensional geometry between the Time Traveller & his Collegues. When the Time Traveller goes into the future he sees that instead of the future being more advanced it became more simple, for the inhabitans looked nothing close to humans who were called the Eloi. On his journey into time he met Weena who was an Eloi, the Morlocks were seen as monsters because they eat the Eloi. Even thought this book is obviously fictional it tells us that the future can become anything. How do we know it may advance? For all we know the future could become more simpler. The book leaves you wondering " How will the future be like?"
