I hope so! And I think eventually because of this on Ask Ausiello:
Ausiello: Luke and Lorelai fans are not going to be thrilled with this development.
Rosenthal: I am a Luke and Lorelai fan as well. This is not an anti-Luke and Lorelai development. Luke and Lorelai are right now on separate journeys, but they are by no means forever separated. They’re still very much a part of each other’s lives and will be in the future in significant and profound ways.

Chris is not the most dependable, and Luke knows Lorelai at her worst and Chris knows her at her best, (financially and luck) so I think Luke will eventually win but it may take another season or 2! Wait till there's talk of the series finale

Just when you think you know what's going to happen, the writers will totally write in something so off the wall that I can only guess as to their future together...I hope so, Chris is nice, but she needs more of a challenge...she'll soon grow tired of the boredom.....Luke can hold his own when sparing with Lorelai...

I dont know, but since the Lorelai/Chris marriage is to end soon, it would make sense that she would go back to Luke. She loves Luke.
