a gaming system should be about the games, and I don't know of any amazingly good games that will be for PS3 only

2 franchises: Final Fantasy, and Metal Gear.
there's some smaller ones that will get ooh's & aah's but those will be the big guns for them.

Resistance: Fall of Man is a hit already, awesome game. As for the future look for Resident Evil 5 to blow up soon.

I don't think so. Sony has never come out with an amazing first person shooter that has only came out for Playstation. The only big first person shooter they have is the Call of Duty series which also came out for other platforms.
