I watched a tv show that asked the question, "Is it possible to miss your fate?" We've all been at a crossroad at some point in our lives. In choosing one path instead of the other, can you miss your fate?

You know I've thought about this. What if you took the time to do some small task, that made you leave the house later than usual. What if you missed out on one of the best experiences ever because of that. It goes the other way too. What if you avoided death because of it? I guess this isn't an answer but you hear so much about "right place at the right time" and "wrong place at the wrong time" that I think it seems possible at least. I think of when I met a girl I was with for quite a few years. I almost didn't go to where I met her. What would have happened if I didn't? Pretty weird. What show were you watching?

I think that the only way you can miss a chance is if you miss the lesson you're given.
AS one person here asked "What if you took the time to do some small task, that made you leave the house later than usual. What if you missed out on one of the best experiences ever because of that. It goes the other way too. What if you avoided death because of it?"

I don't believe in coincidence. you are where you need to be. when we need to be. I'll admit i may have liked it going a different route sometimes. but that wouldn't be me. I am taking what i have learnt to the next choice. I will make the best choice i can with what I know and feel now. Hopefully, whatever I think i lose along the way will not outweigh the lesson I think I've learnt along the path.

I don't think I've missed anything because I have learnt to live with my eyes open. The things I think I have missed are only my regrets and negative thought trying to cloud my judgement.

Fate for us all in this world is death.
There is only one path to this fate and that is life.
On the journey of life there is no missing the road that one does not take.

I would think that 'missing your fate' is your fate.
