I'm not really sure what kind you're looking for, but Rob Thomas has a few pretty ones, like Ever the Same or All That I Am (though they're not really that slow) or Now Comes the Night. Switchfoot also has some beautiful ones (Daisy, On Fire, Twenty-Four, The Blues). Radiohead is rhythmic and they have great lyrics, but I don't relaly know if most of it is as slow as you're looking for. Matchbox Twenty has a few beautiful slow ones too!(Hang, Bed of Lies, Leave, You Won't Be Mine). Sorry if these aren't really the type you're looking for...I tried

If this is for school and you really want to impress the teacher, try Concerto in C Minor by Rachmaninoff.
It is SO beautiful!!! Kids don't have the attention span for classical music these days so you could definitely fall asleep to it!
