Hey. . the Wisconsin Badgers played poorly today and way too conservatively offensively in the second half. However. . they still were able to beat a very good Arkansas team that was very well coached in stopping the potent Badgers running attack. Once again smash mouth Big Ten Defense was able to carry the day. . they bent but didn't break. Do you think now the Badgers will get a little more credit from the Pac 10 and SEC loving media?

Every year it's the same story. . no respect for the Badgers but every year the same result. . .another fine badger season. Last year they Piss Pounded so called Mighty Auburn. They won three rose bowls under Barry Alvarez!!! Yet every year they don't even break into the top 25 until they are 5-1. Yet every year you have teams like Florida State, Miami, and especially Notre Dame who start the season in the top ten without never beating anybody other than army, navy, air force, or the salvation army's marching band sunday powder puff team! Wake up you Pac 10 and SEC loving writers and start giving the Badgers some credit. They may win ugly at times but they still win!! Next year the Badgers should start the season in the top 15 but probably won't even be ranked. Speaking of rank. . . I have to admit Michigans offensive performance today was RANK. . it plain stunk. . their poor defense finally tired out in the fourth quarter. Give USC credit. . . they were very good today.

Wisconsin never gets any credit. They own the SEC every year in Bowl games and all we hear is they did not earn it. Arkansas had the advantage in that game as far as the weather. Wisconsin defense is ranked in the top 5 in all Cat. in the Nation but noboby brings that up!! The Pac 10 and SEC fans will still make there arguements. The true Badger fans know how good that team is and next year we have quite a bit of players coming back!!!

I totally agree with the SEC loving media. That is a bunch of crap. Last year Auburn was so overrated! Anyway, Wisconsin will probably start lower in the polls next year because John Stocco won't be leading them any more. Any time there is a change like that it affects their preseason ranking. This season it had to do with Barry Alverez retiring and losing Brian Calhoun. The Badgers also had a pretty weak schedule. The only teams that get respect in the Big Ten are OSU, Michigan, and Penn State. Everyone else will always be the underdog. Go OSU!!! Kill Florida!!

Wisconsin only "played badly" because Arkansas totally shut down the Badger offense, especially in the second half. You also benefited greatly from the fact that Arkansas has no quarterback and has an incompetent coach. Like Paul Mcguire was saying, imagine how good Arkansas would be if they had a quarterback.

Note how easily Arkansas scored its 2nd half TD when using the McFadden Wildcat offensive formation. That could've won the game if Nutt had enough brains to keep using it, which for some inexplicable reason he didn't.

I watched the Badgers manhandle my Purdue team earlier this year. At that time I had to admit that they were one of the elite in the country.
Great game today - and the Badgers make a statement for a #2 ranking in the final poll.
Go Big Ten.

It'll be nice watching them ranked ahead of USC in the final standings.
