u * ur bf
Ss * ss

Ss Ss ss ss

there is a 50% chance of having children diseased with sickle cell anemia and 50% chance of carrier children.

Just for ur knowledge:

There r no carrier males , only either normal or diseased.

u * partner
Ss * SS
S s S S
SS SS Ss Ss

If u marry a normal man ie not carrier or diseased , there is 50% chance of getting normal babies and 50% chance of carrier babies. Carrier pple can live a normal life.
I think this is the best solution anyways its all up to u, this was just to let u know what the big thing is.
bye tc and Happy New Year!!!!!!

Assuming that you mean you are heterozygous for the trait and your boyfriend is homozygous (since he 'has' sickle cell):

S I S
S SS SS
s Ss Ss

There is a 50% chance that an offspring will have sickle cell, and 50% chance it will only have trait.

If both of you has the trait of sickle-cell anemia (whether dominant or recessive), the sickle-cell trait will be dominant on all your children.

I'm not sure what you mean by trait. If you mean you are a Carrier (ie one of your parents have it, or you have show to have it partily) then you run a 50% chance of having a baby with sickle cell and the other 50% will have the "trait." Much luck to you.
