I've noticed that a lot of Oriental people don't have much body hair...especially the women...it looks like they shave their arms.

It's genetics...And NO we Asians don't shave our arms...that would be yucky! It came from our ancestors. Our skin and hair follicles are much different from others.

There are three ways. 1. Shaving - this will remove the hair, but not right from the root. It will grow back, probably thicker but you can keep on top of this by shaving regularly. 2. Hair removal cream - I would recommend Veet. Hair removal cream basically burns your hair away from you, but obviously it shouldn't actually burn you - make sure you test a small area to check if you are allergic. The hair, again, will not be removed from the root, and will grow back quite quickly. I have also found that using removal cream is not always the most accurate as sometimes patches of hair can be left behind. However, if you a thorough and make sure you are not allergic it could be very successful as it is completely pain free. Smells a bit though ;) 3. Waxing - this will remove the hair directly from the root making the surface of you skin really smooth. However, it can be very painful and the hair will still grow back.

Asian people have less body hair, and so do Native Americans.

I do not know where some of you are getting your information. It DOES snow in the Orient and gets very cold. The theory of colder climate no hair is not true in this case. Russians are also not covered in body hair either, and it is very cold there.

It is due to the place they live. People who live in countries with colder climates automatically grow more hair as protection from the severe climate.

It's genetic.

The women from my mom's side got the hairless leg genes and they don't need to shave at all. Lucky people.

Even my dad's leg are almost hairless.

It was passed down through genes...I guess it's because we didn't originate from extremely cold temperatures such as Russian people. That's what my Russian ex would say.

WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?

Oriental is a rug not a person, To refer to a person as a oriental is like referring a black person as *****. It is archaic

Asian is the right word

More genetically advanced. Plus most of them live in warm climates so they don't need fur.
