Go into My Computer-->Tools-->Folder Options-->View-->Check "Show Hidden Files and Folders"

Then go back to My Computer, click your iPod-->iPod Control (folder)-->the music is in here.

Unfortunately, Apple doesn't allow iTunes to do this... but there's a lot of software out there (on Download.com, for instance) that allows you to copy the music. I use iPod Music Liberator (http://www.zeleksoftware.com/)... works great! Keep in mind, of course, the legal ramifications in case any of your nephew's music is copyrighted.

(by the way, you *could* show hidden files, go through My Computer, and find the iPod, but if my memory is correct, all of the songs have indistinguishable letters as filenames and makes it a big headache to sort them all out.)

you cant, or as far as i know you cant.
this would be kinda long but you can probably burn a cd of the songs that you want from his library and then just import them like you would a regular cd.

you can't. I think purposefully they do this so you can't share music from different computers.
