If the deed has already been done, the only reasonable dodge is to suggest that you've already been there and that someone else could benefit more from the experience. While the company likely cannot get a refund, they usually ARE allowed to make substitutions.
If that doesn't fly, you almost have to go...particularly if the company is out any money over this.
It would be good to talk to the boss about what kind of training you've had, and what you might be looking for...just so she doesn't do this again. But, depending on your working relationship I don't know how that might go.
In general, training represents an investment by your employer, who typically pays not just for the training, but then pays you to be there. It's a delicate thing to turn down. Just because you don't really want to take these particular classes, you don't want to discourage them from sending you to other training in the future.

whatever you do don't use the word idiotic or any similar wording when telling your boss you don't want/need the classes. Tell her you don't have time, or something like that. But if you're being paid...snooze during class, or pay attention. It's all up to you.

Perhaps you can sit down and discuss with your boss and ask her if you can take classes at other places which may offer more quality and beneficial lessons. Maybe she's not aware of those classes you've been taking does not benefit you. Let's hope she'll be open to your input and suggestions. Good luck!

Well, first of all, don't tell her that they are a waste of time or idiotic. Just explain to her that you've taken those types of classes before, and that you feel like your time would be better spent elsewhere.

if your being paid for them it wouldnt really matter. If you really dont want to go just tell your boss flat out that you already took the classes. Why did she sign you up for classes. she might think you need more practice or something. try asking her. i would suck it up and just go.

Yea, I mean, what can it really hurt. So you get a little bored. You're getting payed to attend. And if it makes the boss happy, you'd better do it.

Politely explain to her that you have already taken the classes before, and you believe that you would not benefit from taking them again.

Depends on how much you wish to keep your job. I would just go to the idiotic classes. Grim and bear it.
