Just to ease your mind....you're far from fugly...not even ugly, rather attractive ...IMHO.
Get some fashionable glasses, do a little make up and TA DA a sweetheart that any mature guy would take a chance at.

Ah, I have the cure! Get a myspace and take lots of pictures of yourself with your webcam... make sure its pretty dark, wear a lot of make up and make sure your hair covers at least one eye in every picture. If possible try and show some cleavage as well. You'll be very popular with the virtual boys!
