cry, or jump up and down with excitement. I've experienced both. It depends on how you feel about it.

I can't tell you what you should do, because I don't know your situation. As I see it, this is a multiple choice answer, rather than a multiple choice question...;)
a. Cry...out of happiness
b. Cry...out of pure terror
c. Cry...out of relief
d. Cry...because your hormones are messed up ;)
e. Call your Mom and share the good news
f. Call your Mom and cry out of...(see choices a thru d)
g. Tell the father and cry together
h. Call the father to tell him...but put off any big discussions until after it sinks in...at least a week or two
i. Praise God Almighty!!
j. Pray to God and ask for help, love, and support
k. Put off any big decisions that YOU make until after it sinks in...like after you hear that beautiful heartbeat and realize what it feels like to be carrying another life inside you.
Good Luck to you and I hope you get the answer you want!!! Blessings

The first thing you should do is sit down and give yourself a second to take it all in.
Then grab the phone book and start looking for a doctor for yourself.
If you cant get to a doctor right away--grab some otc prenatal vitamins, you need to take them-the ones a doctor will give you are better & will be suited to you personally, but if need to right now walmart's 'compare to' brand of stuart prenatals are awesome.
I took those until I was able to see a doctor.
good luck!

You need to go to your normal doctors office and have a pregnancy test done. Some insurance companies wont cover your OB visits if you do not complete that step. After that is done more than likely your doctor will "refer" you to an OB or you can choose one on your own (make sure they are covered by your insurance). Then you call be OB and schedule your first OB appointment!!

Relax and call for an OB appointment. Most places won't see you until you are 8 or 12 weeks along.
Treat your body as though it wasn't your own because you're now sharing it with a vulnerable being.
Good luck!

Go to the doctor and a get a check up. They will do some blood work to make sure you are healthy and able to have a baby. Also if you have RH negative blood you will need to be given a Rhogam shot.

Start taking better care of yourself and eating right. Make an appointment for a prenatal visit. No drinking, smoking or drugs of any kind.

I wolud say talk to the father of the baby that you are carrying . and decide about your future together. Its the most happy time so people say anyway. ANd then tell your friends etc. You will probably need alot of support right now.
