the idea of becoming pregnant scares me to death. its not kids or money. i loves kids and i loves babies. i'd love to have one that would look like me! but the idea of the changes my body would go through and the pain almost make me not want to have one. everytime i have a "close call", i am at first excited by the idea, then panic sets in. i know it would be normal to feel this way when i was younger but i'll be 30 soon!

Having a baby is pretty mind-blowing, even though both mine were planned and much desired. It's a lot to go through and a huge, life-changing experience, so I think it's natural to be freaked out about it. I think that means you actually have a concept of what you're getting into! ;-)

More than once part of me wanted to change my mind, but it was too late. I'd already agreed to have children. Now they're both born and even though any day can bring new surprises and challenges, I love my children so much I can't take it sometimes.

Best of luck whatever comes your way!

It is normal to feel that way. Me and my husband were trying to get pregnant and months passed and finally i stopped thinking about it and i just so happened to have an extra pregnancy test left over from the month or two ago and just took it for a JOKE and it turned positive in less than a minute. I freaked plum out and bought another test that same night and it said positive too but i said they were lying to me. I mean i wanted to get pregnant but when it was finally there and happening i was so scared and shocked.
My son is now 5 years old (I was 21 when i had him)
Now i am 27 years old and scared to have another baby. I cannot make up my mind if i want to or not because i did have a hard pregnancy with my son and i miscarried last year so i don't know if i ever will have another one.
It is normal though to feel scared and shocked and be happy all at the same time

I think that is perfectly normal to feel that way. I felt that way with all my babies. and that feeling doesn't just go away with pregnancy either. I'm pregnant with my 3rd and still get paniced when I think about it, but everything will be fine and before I know it will be over and I'll be holding the greatest prize ever!!

So, you're perfectly normal and honestly, if you didn't get a little paniced, I'd worry about ya!

You must first of all be prepared for parenting role. If you are not than there is nothing to be said. Parenting can be fun. Lots of hard work but at the end of the day you'll find joy when the baby smiles at you and calls you mom. Many people returns to their normal self (physically) after delivery. I have had three children and my weight remains pre-pregnancy. Regular exercise and sensible diet will do the trick.

I started having kids at a young age. I was scared to death but to tell you the truth it is bad, but you forget about the sickness, and stretch marks and even labor pain after you have that great baby in your arms. Trust me pregnancy is well worth it and each week you learn and see or feel somthing new so you tend to have the good out weigh the bad!

fair enough u do experience pain i did but most women will tell u they cant remember the pain they felt the idea of the end result makes it all worth it and will go back for seconds which i have not done yet i only just had my first 4months ago. the best thing about having a kid is if u had a really crap day coming home and just seeing him/ her smile makes it all go away

I wanted a baby so bad that the thought of being pregnant made me ecstatic, but when I found out the first time I was terrified. I sat in the bathroom floor and cried. I understand you completely. In the end it all turned out just fine. Good luck.,

You were designed to have babies...you are 30 now? Don't wait...you may miss the chance of a lifetime. Ask any mother or grandmother. Nothing you do in life will be as important, absolutely nothing.
