He was shot at 2 am, I think, in a stretch Hummer coming out of a night club. There were 3 shot, but he was the only one that had been fataly shot. The rest of the story is here.

he was at a night club with Javon walker and he was getting into his limo when some one drove by and shot at him. Javon Walker was already in the limo. they said Williams and Walker had got into an argument with some guys at the night club. the people where in a white tahoe/suburban. most of this i heard on ESPnws.
How can you say that no one that is 24 deserves to die unless they killed someone.

Yeah, he got shot in drive by by gang bangers. Javon Walker, the WR, was with him and it was rumored he died in his lap. It's really really sad. He was only 24 and had two small kids. My sisters love the Broncos and it's really depressing. ...and no one deserves to die...unless you're evil or something like Saddam Hussein, but seriously...(see comment above)^^^

The local buzz was that it was gang/ drug related. But who knows. Still very tragic!
