Victoria's Secret? My son went total porno! I found a very graphic porno book underneath his bed one day while I was cleaning up. I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't tolerate it either and I went after him at his school bus stop about it. I thought that was it that my stern talk had done it's job but no it didn't. The next book was worse than the first. And then I got a bill from the cable company where he'd ordered sex movies! I found another book and some pictures under his mattress where he'd cut the lining and stuck them inside so that I wouldn't find them and he'd also drawn his own sex act pictures. On the one hand I understood the curiosity but on the other hand I didn't want that filth in my house but he continued to deceive and defy me and bring it in. I eventually put him out and he can wallow in those things all he wants too. He was getting the books and pictures from his friends at school and then off of the internet. If your son gets your magazines and you don't want him to have to have access to them throw them out BEFORE he gets a hold of them. Problem solved until he progresses to the other stuff. It's inevitable you know.

Of course this depends upon his age. But if he is around 13 and up then yes this is normal. His curiosity and mothr nature are unning there course. Now may be a good time to start havng the sex talk with him. Don't make a bg deal about him takng the magaznes. but lt him know that its ok and that he can ask you anything.
You probably don't want the magazines back. lol

It is normal, as long as he doesn't start wearing things you've ordered! Don't worry about it, it's a phase he will grow out of in 70 years or so. You can always tell the boys that look at those types of magazines for the reasons you suspect, they can crush a Volkswagon with their right hand, but can't pull up their zipper with the left. Don't confront him about it, the embarassment could lay a guilt trip on him he might spend years paying a shrink to figure out later.

If he sees you like collecting such magazines, then don't even scold him if he follows your step. He learns from your example. NO, PORN is NOT normal for anyone! Just bec he's a teenager, it doesn't justify him from doing that. I hope you can realize how harmful porn is in the long term! Examining his own body can be done in a healthy and right way, as parents you teach him that. It doesn't need to use porn! I really don't understand how parents/people can even think that porn is OK! No wonder there are so many lustful and adulterous people in this world who think that they can sleep around and think that women and sex are cheap!!

Depending on how old your son is, I believe he is going through puberty at this point. He's probably exploring his body. I don't know what the best way to approach this would be however my suggestion is to just talk to him about sex and masturbation and stuff, not with the premise that you know what he is doing (as that would embarrass him and drive him away) but a nice short 5 minute sit down talk with an adequate but not overwhelming amount of sternness, could do wonders in educating him about a taboo subject in our society... sex.

Let him be with his magazines. But you should talk to him about the other behavior going on in your house. I am also wondering why you are so obsessed with your sons puberty. And why you are trying to allure the 16 year old neighbor? Something is not right.

This is the process of him growing up. Nothing to worry about him reading your Victoria Secret magazine. They are decent publication as compared to Playboy. Be opened about it and share the VS magazine with him.

It's normal, and it's a lot more innocent than the freaky stuff he could look at online. Don't make a big deal about it, don't even mention it unless you really feel like you have to say something, and don't ask for them back (after all, you can always order the stuff online).
It's probably time to teach him how to do his own laundry, too...so he can wash his sheets if necessary.

I think this is totally normal. I used to look at sexy magazines when I was a kid and I didnt turn into a sexual deviant. I just wouldnt make a big deal of it. You dont want to him to think he is weird when he is just a normal kid. Have you had the masturbation talk? I dont think our kids should be taught that it is bad. It is a normal, healthy part of life.

Knowing how old your son is would help but generally speaking, it is normal behavior for a young man/boy to want to look at pictures of women. I would not worry too much about it. You may want to have your husband or a manly influence speak to him about it if it would make you feel better or of course you could talk with him yourself! Communication is always best.
