Stewie, I have lost track of what the actual reason is. I hope you read Doonesbury regularly, lol. I do believe the official reason as of today is to prevent civil war (which we are not preventing).
I am not a unprejudiced answerer. First, I want my son home from Iraq, second I am an old hippie, liberal, pacifist.

Oil, Oil, Lies of WMD's, get hold of Iraqi records that would tarnish someones Father for being responsible for selling chemicals to Saddam Hussein in the 1980's that were used to gas the Kurds.
Sunny was just finishing his daddys war and has done a fine job of screwing the United States reputation around the World. The coward will more than likely go to hide on his 98,000 acre farm that he bought in Paraguay. Paraguay is a safe haven for war criminals as they harbored Nazis after the Second World War.

nicely, you're incorrect. whilst Iraq has not something to do with 9/11 particularly, you may examine UN decision 1441 and the 13 different UN Resolutions befoe that. The UN Leaders , France, Germany, Russia and somewhat some others have been in cahoots with Saddam to skim the profts interior the oil for foodstuff software. whilst the U. S. and the united kingdom have been imposing the no fly zones they have been consistantly shot at. whilst the appropriate UN Resolutiuon replaced into being authorized, Saddam persisted to play cat and mouse with IAEA and UN inspectors and defy UN mandate, one after the different, after the different, after the different, after the different, after the different, after the different, after the different, and so on, and so on. See, it replaced into time we enforced the rule of thumb that the entire international voted on yet have been too corrupt to do something approximately it (remember, they have been skimming each and every of the oil for foodstuff software) So what there is not any link, admittedly by using our President, Saddam thumbed his nostril on the U. S. and the UN for OVER 12 YEARS as quickly as they SURRENDERED UNCONDITIONALLY IN 1991. THEY BROKE THEIR situations.......

WMD was what got our eyes on Iraq and everybody agreed they thought they were there. Shortly before Clinton left office the UN even thought so. Then we got attacked and with the ok from both parties we went in. Saddam being a war criminal had to be taken out. Not everyone agrees with the war and as in every war you have the antiwar people but we had to go in to stop future attacks. The terrorists have said their mission is to take us out on our soil or theirs and I would think Bush aims to keep it on theirs.

You ever throw something at a wall and hope it sticks? Every real reason given has been proven false or recanted by "Decider himself".
Trying to define Republican based reasoning?--Impossible!!
Pick a lie any lie. Any lie will do. And once we were in there, what did it matter?

I think that at this point, there was no singular one true good reason anymore, otherwise you would'nt be puzzling and agonizing and stewing about it, and finally postng the question out here in yahoo .
As soon as you know, let us know.

OIL...Bush admitted it a few months ago at a campaign stop. He said "Imagine if the world's oil supply fell into the hands of our enemies...we couldn't let that happen".
