The light comes on inside, and the motor or fan seems to be running. The freezer is still making ice and water comes out of the ice maker. This has been going on for 2-3 days. We took everything out. The freezer/fridge is a vertical combo

Either the temperature setting is too high, or it's broken.

NO help here~ I'm in the same predicament we bought a new side by side fridge w.water and ice and put our older one out in the shop and then on the second day it stopped working both freezer and fridge. bummer sorry~

look at the setting on the dial. It should be somewhere inside the refridgerator. In mine it's in the upper back. See what it's set to.

take off the back plate if you can and vacuum it out and clean under the front grill on the bottom. if that doesn't help it could be the compressor. good luck

Try vacuuming the front bottom pannel and also the back. Sometimes that can help

maybe its an ld fridge...they have a gas bottle thing in the back...maybe it finished...and has shot it...
