It's not that my eyebrows are that thick, they're just uneven- especially at the ends. If you're too afraid to go to a salon or whatever, what are other possibilities (if not getting them done at a salon). I need girl's advice

Just tweeze them. Do not, I REPEAT, do not try to wax them at home by yourself, you'll mess up. Tweezing isn't that bad once you get used to it. Just pluck the strays, and follow the natural arch of your eyebrow.

The most common solution is tweezing. Tweeze the stray hairs that make ur brow line uneven - then tweeze the area toward the end of the underside of ur brow to bring out a shapely arch. Sharp arches can give you an evil loook, so don't pluck too many hairs out. Use an eyebrow clipper to trim the edges that stick out
If you have any bald spots, use some brow powder to fill it in - Anastasia, the Hollywood eyebrow guru, has an awesome brow powder. Try the Duo Brow Powder (pick a shade depending on your coloring) http://anastasia.net/v2/product_info.php?products_id=38
You can also use a brow pencil, a shade lighter than your brow hair, to fill it in. The best trick is to use a white pencil (or a concealer/foundation a shade lighter than your skin will do) to pencil in the curve on the underside of ur brows - it will immediately brighten up ur face and highlight the shape of your eyebrows.
Being of South Asian decent, I've come to accept that tweezing is impossible for me, so I thread. It's a quick and fairly easy alternative, with longer lasting results than tweezing. I even thread other girls (eyebrows and upper lip) and have quite a few "customers" that rave about threading. Look up a salon that offers this service, u'll love the results!

Pluck them yourself. But remember these tips:

Take a pencil, or something straight and line up the inner ends of your eyebrow up with your eye following the angle of your nose. Don't pluck them too thin, because if you overpluck, eyebrows don't always grow back. The arch should be lined up with your pupil. Take a white eye pencil and white out what you are thinking of taking off. That should give you an idea of what they will look like afterwards, and it allows you to accordingly make adjustments.

If you go to a nail salon and have them do it once it might be worth it. It doesn't cost that much there and let them know that you don't want it too thin. Once they've done that then you have your "outline" and can manage the upkeep yourself in the future by tweezing them. They also have places that thread facial hair, I've tried that before and it's great!

well if you do not want to go to a salon, then i suggest plucking them, or buying your own waxing kit! Good Luck! and remember if you take too much off they sell eyebrows pencils to cover in your mistakes! But if i were you I'd just go to a salon. It usually only costs 10.00!!

i'd say going with waxing them yourself is a pretty easy way to get them even- at least that's the easiest way for me. also plucking, which i do now, but is sorta painful to get used to but is a cheap method. also it's important not to get "pluck crazy" cause then you could end up taking out too much eyebrow- easy thing to do. good luck!

tweeze off the stray hairs(tweezer about $2), it will hurt but if you only tweeze the stray ones you don't even really have a chance of messing up. well good luck.
