The most amazing hit i have ever seen. Campbell is such a beast and that was a hard clean and tough hit. The amazing part is that RJ only missed 1 or 2 games i think. He really didnt sustain any major injury.

Completely legal hit, but it highlights a problem. The body armor that players use now is great at protecting them, but can injure another player if contact is made to the head.
Tim Connolly was knocked out of the playoffs in the next round and he still hasn't come back.
I read an interview with Bobby Orr and he said a hit like the one Soupy gave RJ should be illegal. I can't for the life of me see how Campbell could have avoided RJ's head.
