A few guestions about sims 2 pets for GBA?

Are you only allowed to have one pet? Cuz when I went to the store to buy another my other one disappeared.

You only get one --- however, if you were desperate for cash you might be able to buy a new pet and actually get money back if you 'sell' a trained pet.
