No the 8th seed means the 8th seed. They should not be in the championship they lost twice and they deserve the rose bowl

No they shouldn't be. Florida play a tough schedule and has the right to play for the title. Why do people outside the SEC think this is a weak conference. Look at how well they have done in the bowl games. USC beating Mich the way they did just show Fla really does have the rights to be playing for the title.

Not if you're going to base who gets in by the BCS. USC was ranked 8, Florida is 2. Its obvious that Michigan shouldn't have gotten in.

No. Look at USC's two losses. They were to two infantile, unranked teams, Oregon State and UCLA (although UCLA isn't half bad). Florida's one loss came to Auburn, a top 15 team. Boise State should be in the national chapionship game. I mean, their just tearing through Oklahoma. Yeeee-haw!

No, Florida deserved it. USC looked good today, but they did have 2 losses going in.

Yeah, USC had one bad game that cost them a shot. They just leveled Michigan (who obviously shouldn't be there either), and Florida lost to or almost got beat, or should've been beaten by everyone they played.

Why did you wait till after USC defeated Michigan to ask? No, USC had their chance and blew it,all they had to do was beat UCLA and they couldn't do it,so they do not belong in the title game.

they had their chance to get in just like michigan and just like michigan they lost. Florida is from one of ;if not the best conference in the NCAA and their loss was to a ranked team not 2 unranked teams like USC and even though Michigan lost to the #1 ranked team they didnt win their conference.

No, USC is not in the same class as Flordia is this year. With two losts goin against SC, Flordia deserves it more. But don't get me started with Michigan not goin...lol.

Absolutely not as the conferences have the ball in their court! They throw everything in the pot, and someone has to make a decision. They know if they make people mad it is going to cost them money, but they must remain true to the game. Read Howard Cosell's book, "And I Never Played the Game".
