Yep I have the same problem. Mine is caused by a pinched nerve in my neck. Anything can cause a pinched nerve, even sneezing!! You need to see your doctor for a definitive diagnosis. I would actually start with a chiropractor. Good luck

There are a lot of reasons that could be causing this phenomenon. You could have cervical/ neck problems, thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS), or maybe you are just laying down with to much pillow. The first two conditions you need to go to a doctor and possibly get an X-ray, EMG or MRI to see if there are nerve compressions or vertebrae mechanical dysfunction. The pillow item, is that you need to make sure that when you lay down that your forehead and chin are level. This means that your forehead should not be higher then your chin and vice versa.
The question I have is how old are you and do you have diabetes?

yes i do all the time, i have low back problems causing pressure on the sciatic nerve in the spine. you may have something related . the best thing to do is GO to a neurologist to be examined, numbness can also mean the possibility of a stroke. get checked out.

I have also had this happen. The first time I noticed it was when I was pregnant, so I asked the dr about it and she said it was about being over weight or maybe my carpel tunnel acting up. I don't know if your a woman or if you have carpel tunnel, but these are possibilities

My husband experiences the same thing and it is a result of a pinched nerve in his back . Try a chiropractor for a realignment of your spine .

Yes, but it comes back. My first night in boot camp my dog tags were in my armpit and the next morning I'm trying to do all the boot camp "chores" with a gimp arm.
