I didn't understand the bit about her being back in the cave, dreaming about her daughter? What was real, and what was a dream? Anyone know?

she was dreaming she got out.....but of course you know that she didn't. At least that's what they want us to think....it could be the beginning for another movie.

It's what I call "cheesing the ending." There's unfortunately a tradition of it in horror films. You think it's over, and then, surprise! the villain is still alive or the last 20 minutes were a dream or for some other reason the whole thing is rendered pointless by the efforts of the protagonists being negated in the last 30 seconds of the film.
Remember the end of Nightmare on Elm Street? That's the kind of thing I'm talking about. I refuse to recommend any movie that has that kind of ending, because it's 1) a cop-out, 2) frustrating and disappointing, and 3) far too often only a set up for them to be able to do a sequel. The end of the Grudge (US version) is a good recent example. Now, I'm not saying that the protagonist losing in bad... some of the best horror films I've seen have a tragic ending in the Shakespearean sense. However, those are done with good storytelling and the events are believable and relatively satisfying within the framework of the film, not just a last-minute scare.

She dreamed she was safe & escaped but in reality she was stuck in that cave destined to die. Her daughter was waiting for her. Crappest ending to a movie ever.... Woulda been better if she HAD have survived I reckon!

I just watched it & I didn't get it either! Maybe she stayed in the cave because she lost her mind & she thought she really was with her daughter. She "could see her daughter" inside the cave!
