there are a handful in milwaukee, actually, or there were a few years ago when I lived in Chicago. Check sag.org or the aftra website to see who's listed.

If they are still around, Jennifer's Talent is reputable and very nice people. I had friends in chicago that referred me up there. There was another agency called Lori something (lori linns?) and they were very sketchy. They seemed to be dancing around with being a reputable agency and then running a little "we'll charge you to meet with us and make you take our classes and make you take pictures with our expensive photographer" scam. I would steer clear of them, if they are still around.

just make sure you know the difference between a legitimate talent agency and a self-styled "agency" that not in existence to get you work, but is actually a place that runs expensive classes (ala John Robert Powers, Barbizon, John Casablancas, etc.)

Unless you are a member of Screen Actors Guild,
the only agents you find are those that will charge you money for auditions, which is NOT how the industry.

Try to find EXTRA work in Milwaukee so you can work in the movies filmed in your city and get your SAG card.

Have you done anything to attract an agent? They like to know that you have something they can sell.
